Garden update

So you might have seen the Newest pic on Mums Blog. .. well i spent yesterday in the garden , and visited a couple of nurserys  to find out about growing Sweet potatos, well apparently you just buy a sweet potatoe from the supermarket, cut it up and plant it in the ground. .. so thats what i did yesterday  Now my garden bed is a square , which will make it easier to fence off for the new chooks that will be arriving as soon as I get a chook run built. .. anyways when i got home from work today i went to check on the garden as I ususally do .. and I was told that sweet potatoes grow really well here but i wasnt expecting them to grow like this!

 

I have been creating but ill share them soon!

What a Wonderful day!

I didnt check my emails till I got to work today, but when I did ..it certainly made my day!

First I got and email about this.. how cool is that! .. im looking forward to getting to know the Lotus Paperie Girls .. and producing some inspiring layouts to boot!

then I got an email about this! another cool surprise.  and I won a very cool set of stamps from Darkroom Door! cool hey!

and if any of you follow my mums blog.. you will have notice this post a couple of days ago. well here is the pics of my garden just to prove my garden is doing better! LOL ..

 The war is in full swing. I went to work one day last week and dad told me he was off to buy chainsaw oil.... becasue he needed to get his chainsaw ready to harvest his Cauliflowers!! hahaha .. Whatever!  I sat on that for a week , and the other day , I casually asked dad if he knew anyone with a back hoe I could borrow? he looked at me puzzled.... well of course I need it to dig up my potatoes!

OK ill be back soon , with something to share hopefully :)
