What a Weekend!

Its been flat out busy.. and absolutely terrific!

Saturday I taught a class at the retreat held by Embellishbits and another store as well :) (cant think of the name Ill edit when someone reminds me )

You might remember this canvas I made for Buzz and Bloom last year

well we based the class on this canvas..

When I arrived at the retreat , these gorgeous things were on the table

How exciting! they have my name on them what a buzz!

and here are the canvases the girls created ... these are not quite dry in the picture, and the pics were taken with my camera phone .. so not the best quality .. but they all turned out gorgeous! and I had the best time! .. and girls .. I spoke to mum, and next year we are there!!

there were two more too .. but they snuck away before I got a picture :(

Today we went to Northam .. we needed to get fire wood ... we were right out, dad cooked us breakfast, and the bacon was yummo! best bacon I've had in a long time

this afternoon , I spent the afternoon washing( I'm still going) Why am I so behind on washing???? well I'm not ... one of the kids has emptied a whole heap of clean dry clothes into a basket full of wet towels... so they all smelt really yucky! .. so I had to wash it all again! .. at least they were trying to help I suppose.

Tomorrow its off to work .. but not your normal work day .. we have a dog race meet to get to :) and all the races are named after the staff of the office!

Hope this link works Northam Race meet check it out a race named after me too :) .. I'm feeling pretty famous this weekend!

Time to catch up

School holidays are upon us, here in the west, so far for the holidays Jorja has been to the movies twice, and Sian and Phoebe once. Robbie nil. Might have to fix that on the weekend, although he did go a week or so ago with his buddy from school.

I don't have a break from Tafe, so its school for me tomorrow, a new subject. hope I don't fall asleep LOL this teacher is a bit boring.

I have been drawing lots lately, well doodling drawing you know sketching.. and I have been loving it. Ill scan some soon and show you :)

My buzz project went up on the 1st, have a look at the layout here

and here's the sneaks :)

the theme was retro, and I couldn't get past the retro circles image, so i went with it :)

I taught my 3 layouts in 3 hours class last week at Scraptivate it was a huge success .. the girls all loved it.. my next 3 in 3 class is on the 26th July .. heres a sneak, call the shop for bookings. its a great way to get photos in to albums.

would love to see you there :)

I won a couple of prizes last month :) Woohooo .. my Time ATC .. won me a set of darkroom door stamps ... cant wait to play with them .. that comp was at Inkurable Stampers Pop on over and have a look at this months challenge!

I also won the Theme challenge at Aussie Scrapbooking .. Not sure what i won there .. but this layout was the winner ..

and look I forgot to erase my pencil handwriting before I scanned it LOL Good one Tania!

I haven't done a lot of scrapping ... I did one tonight , but haven't scanned it yet .. hopefully ill get back into it soon

What a weekend!!

Kneecaps Cricket balls, Shopping, pubs, movies , gardening, and all the normal things that happen on a weekend at our house!

Colouring was Jorja's thing for the weekend! .. I will scan some of her colorings tomorrow and share .. coz I love them !

Thursday, Sian was hit fair square in the kneecap by a cricket ball at school, she's been walking on it etc, so I thought it was just a bruise, but its still very painful so I'm taking her to the doctor tomorrow .. just to be sure!

Saturday, was a Taxi mum day .. take one here take two there, Sian went off with my Brother Alan to do a bit of shopping, she bought a couple of Bras, and a a couple of tees. Im loving that my girls have their own money to buy these type things .. if they want to .. its good!! She has gone up a bra size again! .. when are they going to stop growing!!!!!

I took phoebe and one of her friends to a movie, and whilst they were at the movie .. I went shopping for PJ's for Jorja, and picked up a couple of other bargains too! .. then I had a manicure and pedicure! .. Love it!

Saturday Night I went to a pub!!! Yep shock horror .... I never ever go out .. and very rarely go to a pub! .. then we went to see 'Sex in the City Movie" gold class.. now those chair are so much more comphy than normal cinema chairs . The movie was ok, I've never been a huge fan of the series, and more went for the night out with the girls .. which was awesome!

and today, we did some gardening ... we planted veges in the back and flowers out the front .. Kids loved it! Especially Robbie, But they had had enough by the time it came to the flowers, so I did them on my own .. but it feels good to have some new stuff in the garden.

Rob is really looking forward to the Carrots growing .. so he can take them to school for fruit time .. Bit weird to take broccoli he says LOL we Also planted beetroot, So now we need to work out how to fix the beetroot so its like the stuff that comes out of a tin LOL .. anyone got a recipe? or the know how?

So there ends my weekend .. i have been playing to .. but nothing finished yet :( .. ill share soon :)
